Women's Over-30 Schedule (September 13): The schedule for the Women's Over-30 competition is now posted. See Cup Schedules  > September 19th in the left-hand menu bar.
Cup Lost&Found (August 30): For either Cup weekend, if you inadvertently left anything behind at Beckwith Park please send an email to glsl.admin@gmail.com, and we'll look through the leftover items to see if we collected it or if someone turned it in. Clothing items not collected after two weeks are donated to charity.
Cup Results Congratulations to all the teams that participated in this weekends GLSL Cup and thanks to all the players, coaches, referees, parents, and volunteers for making this weekend possible.  Please check the "Cup Schedules" page for the weekend results.
I have a game in December? When a game needs to be rescheduled, the game is "parked" in the month of December. The date is not a mistake, it is a placeholder indicating that a new date is required. See the "Rescheduling Games" section of this website for the required actions by the coaches of teams which have December games.
Eyeglasses The OSA Interpretations/Clarifications of Law 4 (Players Equipment) has a special mention of eyeglasses. In particular, players at a competitive level of play should be wearing contact lenses, or special sport glasses. However, there is a provision in the OSA Interpretation that players at a recreational level not be required to purchase special sport glasses, but that "streetwear" glasses are adequate. As a recreational league, it is the expectation of the GLSL that referees allow players, wearing "normal" eyeglasses, be permitted to play without restriction. As in previous years, there is no GLSL requirement for sport eyeglasses, restraining straps, or any other special provision. Parents/players who wish a higher level of safety are encouraged to purchase sports glasses.
