Cup Weekend Division Assignments
The end-of-season GLSL Cups will be played the weekends of August 19-21-22 and August 26-28-29.
In general, divisions with an even number of teams are completed first (as there are no bye weeks), and so these divisions play the first weekend. Divisions with an odd number of teams generally play the second weekend. If any team has a conflict between the Cup game and a regular season game on Thursday August 19/26, the regular season game will be brought forward.
Because of the number of games, the number of fields, a desire to not have a team travel to the game site to play only one game on Sunday, and the requirement to not schedule a team to play too many games on Saturday, all teams should be prepared to play on the Thursday night, in addition to the weekend.
