Game Schedule Changes

The game scheduling tool used by the GLSL does not have the capability to avoid certain dates, for example, July 1st, or the August long weekend.

It is also a requirement that all regular-season games be completed before the start of the end-of-season Cup Competition. In divisions with an odd number of teams (and therefore byes), most schedules extended past the second Cup weekend.

The league has identified all games that need to be moved, and working with the club's field schedulers we are pulling them forward into June and July where possible, thus leaving as many dates as possible in August to reschedule the inevitable rain-outs.

Because teams are already playing on their usual game night, these rescheduled games will be on a different night - usually the traditional practice night (e.g. game night is Thursday, practice night is Tuesday). Subject to field availability.

Team officials and referees will receive a notification email. Players will need to be notified by their team officials, or pick up the reschedule from the website.

Note: Due to legacy issues from E2E, the notification email will have some text at the end regarding "Player Availability". Ignore it. E2E have been requested to edit the notification text but have not yet done so. It might be good to remove that text before forwarding the email to your team.
