Two game sheets per team are now required
Starting in the 2010 season, each team will now provide two signed game sheets to the referee at the start of the game (the coach's pre-game signature signifies "I take responsibility for the player names listed on this game sheet" - it's an OSA accountability thing).
At the conclusion of the game, the referee will complete the score and sign all four game sheets.
After the handshake, the coaches and referee will meet, the coaches will check that all four game sheets have the same result, ensure that the scores are not reversed, and initial each of the sheets somewhere near where the score is written.
The referee will retain one game sheet from each team. Each team will receive their own (well-autographed) game sheet from the referee. A team does not get a copy of their opponent's game sheet.
The referee, and the team coach (or their designate), will use the results listed on the game sheet for completing the post-game report (entering the score etc).
